Photo Scanning: (500 photos $150)
We know your photo memories are priceless so we help you preserve them and pass them on easily to family by scanning paper photos, photo albums, framed photos etc and putting them all on a USB for you. This allows you to free up all the space your photos currently take up in albums, bins and boxes but as well by transferring them to a digital format, you can easily view them on your computer (and create a wonderful slideshow to enjoy and share with others) versus having them in dusty boxes where they are probably not viewed currently. Reach out to us to discuss rates for larger or smaller amounts of photos.
Speaking Engagements/Presentations: $400 (virtual) or $500 (in person)
Martha has done many speaking presentations on the topics shown below. She will happily customize a topic specific to your group or organization. Presentations run one hour in length (including 15 min for questions).
Martha has been published in a number of newspapers and magazines and has been featured on numerous radio and TV channels. She is an accomplished presenter who weaves in humour, common sense and wisdom into her presentations keeping audiences engaged, entertained and sending them away with useful and easy-to-apply tips and tricks for organizing and decluttering.
Conquering Your Clutter For Once and For All: During COVID we have all been in close quarters and we’ve come to realize that clutter is what we end up with when we have too much stuff. Our stuff has started to weigh us down and fence us in. In this presentation you’ll learn the 5 step process for organizing and decluttering as well as tips and tricks for maintaining spaces so that they remain uncluttered and functioning optimally thereby saving you money and time and giving you back more space, more productivity and more alignment with those things that matter most to you. Time is left for questions.
Decluttering to Downsize: It’s never more obvious how much stuff we have until it’s time to move it all to a new home. By decluttering before you move you will save time, money and effort. Areas we’ll cover in this presentation will include a plan reviewing how and where to start, how to sort those items that you want to keep and those that you want to purge. For items you want to let go of we’ll explore options regarding selling/auctioning, as well as donating and green alternatives. Included as well will be some key Do’s and Don’ts as well as tips and tricks on decluttering sentimental items, paper items and photographs. Time is left for questions.
Some reviews of our speaking engagements/workshops:
“Martha from Declutter4Good (formerly Room2Breathe) provided a one-hour virtual workshop for the faculty and staff at Carleton University and the attendees were very impressed. Martha is a lively and engaging presenter, and provided relatable examples and tangible actions that attendees could implement immediately in their own lives. Her presentation was well-organized and easy to follow, and she provided some excellent tips and strategies. Thank you!”
Samantha Munro, Healthy Workplace Officer, Carleton University
“Martha gives back to the community and did so in a very meaningful way with staff @CHEO. She provided us with an excellent presentation about decluttering and getting organized. The tips she provided were excellent and motivated us all to get going on some projects at home. If you need help to declutter and organize your home, I highly recommend you reach out to her. She also shared with us about the Give Shop App which I was not familiar with but I love the idea of giving back to a charity of my choice (which of course is the CHEO Foundation). Thank you Martha!! We appreciate you!”
Helene Larocque, Certified Holistic Wellness Coach and Workplace Wellness Facilitator
“Approximately 50 Ashbury College employees recently attended Declutter4Good’s (formerly Room2Breathe) virtual workshop on ‘Conquering Your Clutter Once and For All’, as part of our mental wellness series. The participants identified the workshop as informative, and full of great tips and tricks. As well Martha’s emphasis on environmental sustainability, and community engagement strongly resonated with our staff, and aligned with our schools’ values. We have recommended Martha’s workshop to others who have now hired her too.”
Bill Palamar, HR Director, Ashbury College
“Martha led an incredible workshop on organizing and decluttering for our Altis Candidate Community. From the beginning to end, Martha was informative and knowledgeable. The content presented was valuable regarding how best to declutter as well as how to efficiently complete the process. Martha brought enthusiasm to her presentation and we can definitely say our participants left the workshop ready and motivated to conquer their clutter!”
Erin Cambell, VP People Strategy, Altis Recruitment
“Martha at Declutter4Good (formerly Room2Breathe) recently put on two fantastic workshops for Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group (GNAG). Both ‘Decluttering to Downsize’ and ‘Conquer Your Clutter For Once And For All’ were full of tips and tricks and easy to understand processes for making decluttering more effective. As well everyone enjoyed seeing the Before & After photos and finding out where they could donate items locally. Thank you so much Martha! Looking forward to working with you again.”

“Martha with Declutter4Good (formerly Room2Breathe) was amazing and best of all she found my long-lost Tiffany bracelet that was so special to me. I kept telling her she is a ‘miracle worker’ as I truly have a feeling of calm again in my home and so much more space. Best thing I have ever done for myself. I now have systems to keep everything where it belongs.”
